What Does the Word “Cabin” mean to you?
The use of the word “cabin” does not refer to a specific physical description or object. Our first cabin would have fit inside one-third of one floor of our second cabin, which we’ve been in since 2004. Our first cabin was seasonal with a wood stove and a water well that hibernated for seven months of the year. They are both cabins (and both in the Aitkin area).

Fall is Settling Onto Cedar Lake Area
The Fall colors are settling into the Cedar Lake area. Watercraft and lifts are being removed from the lake, as cooler temps have been visiting.

In the ongoing efforts of conservancy, and keeping our lakes and lakesides clean, Cedar Lake Conservancy volunteers did roadside cleanup on a section of County Hwy 28 on Sat, Sept 25, 2021.
